5 Best Books to Beat the Winter Blues

by Marsha Stopa

Cold Nights and a Book

If all you want to do is curl up with a good book and an afghan, I’ve got a few titles you may find interesting and helpful, to boot.

Here’s my first round of recommended books for the winter blues and SAD, seasonal affective disorder. You can find the full review by clicking on the “Reading List” tab at the top of the page or by clicking here or on the titles, below.

I’ve included books that will help you learn more about SAD and how to combat it, how to adjust your diet to avoid carb hybernation and a bit of interesting scientific research on the circadian rhythms and internal biological clocks that control every living thing on the planet.

You can find them on Amazon or your local library. If you’ve read other useful books on the subject, please share.

Enjoy!
