New Here?
Welcome to your new winter experience!
I want you to be able to find what you’re looking for and get your questions answered. And if you don’t get your questions answered, I’d like to know so I can fill in the gap.
Beating the winter blues and seasonal depression is a puzzle with several key pieces. If you’re already caught by seasonal depression, my advice is to not attempt too many changes when your energy is at low tide. Take it slow and easy.
Read about light therapy in the Bright Light series to learn why it’s so critical for your winter mood.
I’ve pulled some of my best advice from Your 8 Step Plan to Stopping the Winter Blues and my new course, The LightDiet: Using Light to Beat the Cloudy Day, Rainy Day, Winter Day Blues, into a month-long series of Winter Blues Tips.
Two short cuts
I’ve created two comprehensive guides to help you navigate the puzzle and begin to create your personal beat-the-blues plan.
Your 8-Step Plan to Stopping the Winter Blues is a 37-page guidebook that lays out the eight puzzle pieces and shows you how to deal with each one as you craft your own plan. It’s the most concise, helpful thing I’ve created so far. I’ve bundled Your 8-Step Plan with the free Light Therapy Lamp Guide into the Winter Double so you’re armed and ready to start light therapy if you choose. Get them both here.
A step-by-step guide to light therapy
When you’re ready to kick the blues for good, The LightDiet will show you how to use light therapy to improve your winters with an easy, home-study course you can do at your pace to create your own personal light therapy plan.
In the next few months I’ll be writing alot about how to avoid a carb coma, supplements that work, exercise and movement for winter, your winter comfort zone and how to realign your life with your energy.
